Interior Decorating

Whether you’re decorating a single room or an entire property, we work with you from the initial estimate through to completion.

We can advise on colours, finishes and suitable products, as well as highlighting any potential issues before work begins. If we uncover problems during the decorating process — such as damp, damaged plaster or other defects — we’ll discuss them with you and help find the right solution.

Where additional work is required, we can also arrange trusted tradespeople we have worked alongside previously, helping to keep your project moving and ensuring the work is completed to the right standard.

Throughout the project, we’ll keep you informed of progress and welcome your input along the way.

Exterior Decorating

We undertake smaller exterior decorating projects, including low-level house painting, sheds, summerhouses, garage doors and other exterior areas.

Using professional trade products and the correct preparation methods for each surface, we aim to provide an attractive, durable finish that will stand the test of time.

We can advise on the most suitable products and explain the preparation required to achieve the best possible result.

Dustless Sanding

Good decorating starts with good preparation.

Surfaces often need repairing before they can be decorated. This might involve filling holes, repairing cracks, skimming damaged areas or repairing damaged or rotten woodwork. Sanding is then essential to create a smooth, even surface ready for painting.

Traditionally, sanding can create a significant amount of dust throughout a property. That’s why we have invested in professional dustless sanding equipment.

Our extraction systems dramatically reduce airborne dust, helping to keep not only the room we’re working in, but your home as a whole, as clean and dust-free as possible.

We believe dustless sanding provides a better finish, creates a cleaner working environment and can save time during the preparation process.

Wallpapering

We offer a range of wallpapering services, including full-room wallpapering, wallpaper removal and the preparation of existing wallpaper for painting.

In some situations, removing wallpaper can reveal damaged or uneven walls underneath. If the existing wallpaper is sound and suitable for painting, keeping it in place can sometimes be a practical alternative.

Where appropriate, we can prepare existing wallpaper for painting by lightly sanding the surface, securing any loose areas, filling and sanding seams, applying a professional wallpaper primer/sealer and then decorating as normal.

For customers who prefer a completely fresh start, we can remove existing wallpaper and backing, address any underlying issues and fully prepare the walls ready for their new finish.

Wall Panelling, Dado & Picture Rails

Wall panelling can add character, depth and architectural detail to almost any room.

We offer wall panelling installation to suit both traditional and contemporary interiors, from classic panel mouldings and wainscoting to more modern designs.

We take care with the measuring, cutting and installation to ensure the finished panels are accurately aligned and ready for decorating.

We also install dado rails and picture rails, working to your chosen design and specification.

Small Repairs & Surface Preparation

Proper preparation is one of the most important parts of achieving a high-quality finish.

As part of our normal preparation, we can take care of a range of smaller repairs before decorating, including damaged corners, cracks, holes, uneven surfaces and general lumps and bumps.

We’ll assess the surfaces before we start and carry out the necessary preparation to give your chosen paint or finish the best possible foundation.

Project Management & Trusted Trades

Sometimes decorating is only one part of a larger project.

If additional work is required before decorating can begin — perhaps a ceiling needs plastering, pipework needs boxing in or other repairs need completing — we can help organise this for you.

Where appropriate, we can carry out smaller jobs ourselves or arrange for a trusted trade to undertake the work. We have built relationships with reliable tradespeople over the years and can help coordinate their work alongside the decorating.

This service is normally charged separately from the decorating work, but our aim is to make the whole project as straightforward as possible, from the initial preparation through to the finished room.
